General Dentistry

Ages Pre-K – 18

General dentistry is focused on repairing and restoring teeth that may be damaged, decayed, or missing. This is an essential part of oral health care for students in District 205 who need more than just routine cleanings. Currently, if students are assessed and require general dentistry, they will be taken to Oates Dental or Park City Dental until September 2025, when we will move to our permanent location at the Stenstrom Center.

General dentistry includes various procedures such as fillings for cavities, crowns to strengthen weakened teeth, extractions, and root canals for tooth restoration. These not only enhances the appearance of smiles but also plays a vital role in improving overall health, allowing students to eat, speak, and smile with confidence.

Weekly Visits

Visits to a total of 45 schools within the 205 district are conducted, engaging with students ranging in age from Pre-K all the way up to 18 years old.

School Support

We’re extremely thankful to the schools of 205 for their generous assistance and support in promoting the importance of preventative care within our community.

General Dentistry

The students who require additional care and attention are scheduled by the schools to visit either Oates Dental or Park City Dental for their dental appointments.

Transportation

The transportation provided in collaboration with the school systems is vital to the overall operations of our program and ensures that students have a reliable and consistent way to access the dental care they need for their health and well-being.

Transportation Assistance

”The transportation service we provide has been a game changer; many parents want to get their children the help they need, but can’t always take time off work to do so. It’s heartening to see the kids adapt; many of them have been with us since early childhood and continue to seek our care even now. It’s astonishing how many people are unaware of proper dental care, including some who work within our own organization." - Jodi
