Preventative Dentistry

Ages Pre-K – 18

Restorative dentistry focuses on repairing and restoring teeth that may be damaged, decayed, or missing, making it an essential aspect of oral health care for students in District 205 who may require more than just a routine cleaning. This encompasses various procedures, such as fillings for cavities, crowns to strengthen weakened teeth, bridges to replace missing ones, and dentures for complete tooth restoration.

Restorative dentistry not only enhances the appearance of smiles, making them more attractive and vibrant, but it also plays a crucial role in improving overall health by ensuring that students can eat, speak, and smile confidently in social situations and during everyday interactions.

Weekly Visits

Each year, our clinic sees over 12,000 children, and it has been determined that approximately 50% of these young patients require some form of general dentistry following their routine examinations.

Dental Education

Our dental hygienists take the time to educate each student about how to prevent dental issues before they arise and encourage patients to adopt good oral hygiene practices.

Preventative Care

Preventative Dentistry encompasses a range of essential services aimed at maintaining optimal oral health. These services include regular dental exams, professional cleanings, the application of sealants, fluoride treatments, and comprehensive patient education.

Many students' education and overall confidence have significantly increased since they began receiving the dental care they needed.

- AJ

“I used to be really shy and felt lost, hiding under a blanket because of my rotted teeth. After having most of them extracted and getting my partial denture, I feel like a new person. Now I go by AJ, and I’m much more outgoing. It’s amazing how much of a difference this has made in my life. Education is just as important as the check-up and cleaning.”
